Calcetin, a calcium hydroxide based(non-setting) paste used as a liner or intracanal medicament in irreversible pulpitis, chronic periodontitis, apexification and apexogenesis.
It produces a high pH of 12.8 , thus stimulating the production of secondary dentine in the case of pulp exposure and apexification when placed within the canals.
It is radiopaque and can easily be removed from the canals if necessary.
Consists of ultra thin dispensing tips of 0.52 diameter that enables direct application of the paste into the canals.
